Three days, thirty young people, and one powerful common goal: to turn an idea into a real business project.
That’s what the September Validation Camp Start it @ČSOB looked like, held at MSIC – the Moravian-Silesian Innovation Centre in Ostrava.
And the Moravian-Silesian Technological Academy was there to take part.
When an Idea Gains Structure
The camp kicked off in style. During the first two days, participants learned the key principles of entrepreneurial thinking, including:
- Lean Canvas as a tool to structure ideas,
- Consultations with mentors from ČSOB, MSIC, and the Moravian-Silesian Technological Academy,
- Feedback from investors and industry experts,
- Testing ideas in real-world environments.
It was an intensive process of refining, reformulating, and challenging ideas — all leading up to the grand finale on the third day.
A Finale That Matters
The final day became a true showcase of courage and entrepreneurship.
Participants publicly presented their business ideas before a professional jury.
Whether it was technological innovations, community initiatives, or eco-driven concepts, they all had one thing in common:
they were credible, tangible, and connected to real social needs.
What Did the Participants Take Away?
- Experience with public pitching,
- Knowledge of market validation, target groups, and real-life testing,
- Motivation to continue developing their ideas,
- And above all, the understanding that entrepreneurship can start at school.
Thanks to a strong partnership with ČSOB, which has long supported young entrepreneurs, participants can continue developing their projects through follow-up programs and incubation schemes.
Why It Makes Sense
The Validation Camp is more than just a workshop.
It’s a real growth environment — a place where students overcome fears, learn from mistakes, and experience the excitement of entrepreneurship firsthand.
The Moravian-Silesian Technological Academy is a proud partner of this initiative, because we believe that entrepreneurship is a skill that can be deliberately developed — and it deserves a key role in modern vocational education.
Thank You for Having Us
We thank all partners, mentors, organizers, and participants for their involvement.
And we look forward to seeing some of these ideas come to life — perhaps very soon.
Because change doesn’t start in spreadsheets, but with people who believe in themselves.
