On January 17, 2025, another workshop in the robotics team series took place at the Robotics Center of VŠB-TUO in Ostrava, focusing on industrial and collaborative robots. The event attracted 11 specialized high school teachers, including representatives from outside the Moravian-Silesian Region, such as a teacher from the Secondary Technical School and Business Academy in Uherský Brod in the Zlín Region. This diversity highlights the growing interest in modern teaching methods in robotics.
What Did the Workshop Offer?
The workshop covered key areas of modern robotics education:
1. Robot Programming
Teachers had the opportunity to practically explore programming industrial robots, helping them better understand how these technologies can be integrated into their teaching.
2. Presentation of ABB Industrial Robots
Participants observed state-of-the-art industrial robots in action and discussed their applications in real-world manufacturing processes and educational settings.
3. Discussion on Updating EduBoxes
The workshop included a discussion about updating and expanding EduBoxes, with suggestions such as:
• Visualization of a production line to help students understand its operation as a cohesive system.
• Breaking down the production line into individual components, with detailed descriptions of each segment to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the entire process.

Attending this workshop provided teachers with several significant advantages:
• Hands-on Experience: Teachers learned the basics of robot programming, which they can directly apply in their lessons.

The Future of Robotics in Education
This workshop once again confirmed the importance of integrating modern technologies into vocational education. Discussions on EduBox updates and the presentation of specific technologies are bringing education closer to the demands of today’s job market.
