On December 9, 2025, the Moravian-Silesian Technological Academy hosted another event that moves vocational education forward—this time aimed at entrepreneurial school principals and their deputies from secondary schools. The topic was no coincidence: “Entrepreneurship as a Living School Vision” became the guiding theme of the day.

What Does Entrepreneurship Really Mean?

The meeting was intentionally designed as a space for sharing, defining key terms, and discussing practical tools. After a brief welcome, participants engaged in a collective discussion about what entrepreneurship actually means in a school environment—and how it can create value not only for students but for the entire school community.

From Classroom to Factory – A Corporate Simulation

After the opening discussion, the group moved into a simulated car manufacturing plant, where participants got hands-on experience with real-world production processes. This part of the day highlighted how essential it is to connect theoretical knowledge with practical skills, collaborate effectively, solve problems creatively, and manage stress—skills that should be embedded in every modern educational program.

How to Inspire Entrepreneurial Thinking in Students?

The afternoon focused on exploring ways to naturally integrate entrepreneurship into teaching. Discussions revolved around specific methodologies, educational tools, and real-world stories that could motivate students to become more engaged, independent, and driven to realize their own ideas.

Outcome: A Shared Vision and Determination

By the end of the day, everyone agreed: the event was a success. Entrepreneurial thinking is becoming an integral part of school curricula, and more and more schools recognize its value. Thanks to gatherings like this, a network of educational leaders is emerging—leaders who not only understand the importance of this skill set, but actively cultivate it within their schools.

Long-Term Commitment from MTA

The Moravian-Silesian Technological Academy has long supported entrepreneurship as a key competence for the 21st century. Through collaboration with forward-thinking school leaders, teachers, and industry experts, this approach has the power to transform Czech education—at its very foundations.
