The national final of the CzechSkills 2026 competition attracted a large number of visitors and talented contestants from across the Czech Republic to Brno. Among the twelve competition categories, Entrepreneurship Support also had its place, with the Moravian-Silesian Technological Academy participating as a partner.
This year, four teams from three different regions qualified for the final round, clearly confirming the growing interest in this discipline and the increasing quality of the competing projects.
Challenge: Mobility of the Future
The theme of this year’s competition was mobility of the future. The competing teams were tasked with developing a comprehensive business concept that included:
- a realistic financial plan,
- a well-thought-out marketing strategy,
- an innovative solution with an emphasis on sustainability and environmental impact.
Over three days of intensive work, the teams developed, consulted, and refined their projects in preparation for the final presentation. In the final round, they presented their proposals to a four-member expert jury, which evaluated not only the quality of the ideas but also their feasibility and presentation level.
Competition Results
First place was awarded to the team from Gymnázium Kojetín, consisting of David Štábl and Karel Bíbr, who impressed the jury with the complexity of their solution and the quality of its execution.
Final ranking:
- David Štábl, Karel Bíbr (Gymnázium Kojetín)
- Amálie Machů, Klára Gattyánová (Zengrovka + Vítkovická Secondary School)
- Dominik Richter, Adam Čech
- Zuzana Křišťálová, Victoria Minaříková
Entrepreneurship as a Key Skill
The national final once again demonstrated that young people are capable of working with complex challenges, thinking in context, and finding solutions to current societal issues. The CzechSkills competition is therefore not only about results, but primarily about developing competencies that are essential for future careers.
The Moravian-Silesian Technological Academy has long supported the development of entrepreneurship among students and sees participation in this competition as an important step toward connecting education with the real world.
