VET Bridge 2025: An International Conference Connecting Vocational Schools, Companies, and Innovation

This October, the city of Ostrava will become a European hub for vocational education. From 22 to 23 October 2025, the VET Bridge 2025 international conference will bring together representatives of schools, companies, public authorities, and education professionals from across Europe to share experiences, ideas, and innovations.

The conference will take place at two venues – the cultural centre DK Poklad and the VŠB–Technical University of Ostrava. All sessions will be held in Czech and English, with simultaneous interpretation provided. The event is organized by the Moravian-Silesian Technological Academy in partnership with the Moravian-Silesian Region.

The Goal: Sharing Practical Solutions and Inspiring Stories from Across Europe

The mission of VET Bridge 2025 is clear – to create a high-level international platform for showcasing best practices, innovative teaching approaches, and successful models of collaboration between schools and industry.

The conference will feature compelling case studies that demonstrate the potential and necessity of modernizing vocational education to meet the challenges of today’s world.

A highlight of the programme will be the introduction of EduBox – a hands-on educational toolkit that has already transformed classroom learning in dozens of Czech secondary schools. EduBox will be presented as a tangible example of how to effectively integrate technology, pedagogy, and practice into one cohesive system.
