At the end of September, another edition of the successful entrepreneurship program Validation Camp Start it ČSOBkicked off. Over the course of two intensive days, more than 30 young participants gathered at the Moravian-Silesian Innovation Centre (MSIC) to develop their business ideas and receive direct feedback from experienced professionals.
First Steps Towards Validating an Idea
Guided by experienced mentors from MSIC, the Moravian-Silesian Technology Academy, and ČSOB, participants dove into key topics in business practice. During the initial sessions, they were introduced to the Lean Canvas tool, which helps structure business ideas in a practical and efficient way. This was followed by workshops and lectures by investors, offering a real-world view into what truly matters when entering the market.
One of the most valuable aspects of Validation Camp was the opportunity to test and visualize their ideas in real scenarios — receiving direct feedback from industry experts. The mentoring approach was highly individual and hands-on, allowing participants to refine their concepts and prepare for the next stage of development.
Final Pitch Coming Soon
But Validation Camp doesn’t end here. The third and final day will take place next week, culminating in the most important moment — the public pitch of each business idea before a professional jury. Projects will be evaluated not only based on the quality of the idea but also its market potential, sustainability, and team collaboration.
What Is Validation Camp All About?
Validation Camp is part of the broader Start it ČSOB program, which helps young people validate the real potential of their ideas and promotes entrepreneurship as a skill that can be actively developed. Thanks to the connection between companies, schools, the banking sector, and innovation centres, a space is created where young creators can test their concepts in a safe — yet demanding — environment.
Why It Matters
Events like this confirm that entrepreneurship belongs in education and youth development. The Moravian-Silesian Technology Academy is proud to be a partner in such initiatives — because we believe that real change begins when students step outside the theory and into reality.
