On January 15, 2025, the Validation Camp 2025 kicked off at the VIVA MSIC building in Ostrava, a unique three-day event for entrepreneurial high school students. Organized in collaboration with ČSOB, MSIC, and the Moravian-Silesian Technology Academy (MTA), the camp offers young people an unparalleled opportunity to elevate their entrepreneurial skills.
Inspiring and Innovative First Days
Over 40 students participated in Validation Camp, working in teams on their entrepreneurial ideas. The first day featured inspirational talks, including a keynote by alumna Veronika Hyvnarová, who has successfully launched the UCKO.eu and Weekend Camps projects.
Thanks to mentors and industry experts, participants learned:
• How to effectively communicate with customers and gather valuable insights.
• How to create a simple prototype for their product or service.
• How to test their ideas in real-world environments.
The second day focused on networking, where young entrepreneurs forged connections, exchanged experiences, and received feedback on their projects. Simultaneously, they began to visualize and test their ideas.
Bold Entrepreneurial Ideas
The workshops resulted in several innovative business concepts, such as:
• Comprehensive auto service: Picking up vehicles directly from customers and returning them after servicing at a precise time.
• Agricultural services emphasizing organic food: Promoting sustainable farming and ecological production.
• Renovation of older apartments: Efficiently refurbishing residential spaces for quick market readiness.
Mentoring and Sharing Experiences
A significant highlight of Validation Camp was the involvement of five experienced mentors, including alumni from previous Business Camp events. These former participants, who will represent the Czech Republic at international competitions in Denmark and Croatia, shared their experiences and offered guidance to the current attendees.

Looking Toward the Future
Validation Camp is part of a broader initiative to increase the number of young entrepreneurs in the Moravian-Silesian Region, a traditionally less entrepreneurial area. Events like this are changing the narrative, giving the younger generation the confidence to step into the business world.
What’s Next?
The third and final day, scheduled for January 29, 2025, will feature team presentations before a panel of mentors and peers. The best projects will be eligible for exciting awards and further development opportunities.
Validation Camp 2025 has once again demonstrated that young people have the energy, passion, and creativity to bring innovative ideas to life. We look forward to the finale and the inspiration this event will continue to provide.
