Today’s fast-paced technological advancements in various fields were the main focus of our MTA Roadshow, which this time visited the Secondary Vocational School in Frýdek-Místek. The event aimed to inspire students and teachers through modern teaching tools, such as the EduBox with augmented reality and a Future Mobility presentation featuring a practical demonstration of an electric car.
Electric Car and Augmented Reality: Inspiration for Students
The program was attended by over 100 students from the first to third grades of disciplines such as Mechanic-Repairman, Auto Electrician, and Agricultural Machinery Repairman. Students were captivated not only by the electric car demonstration but also by the opportunity to explore its features through augmented reality. This modern approach allowed them to gain insights into the workings of innovative technologies and their practical applications in the automotive industry.
Specialized Teachers: A Vision for Educational Innovation
In the afternoon, a presentation was held for 14 vocational teachers, focusing on areas such as engineering and artificial intelligence. The goal was to showcase how EduBoxes and technological innovations can modernize teaching in vocational schools to meet the demands of the future job market. Discussions centered on ways to integrate new technologies into practice and motivate students to take an active interest in technical fields.
The presentation took place at the school’s newly equipped facilities – Na Hrázi and Na Lískovecké, providing participants with a practical example of how to connect theoretical instruction with hands-on experience.
A Shared Path to Modern Education
The MTA Roadshow in Frýdek-Místek reaffirmed the immense potential of combining innovative technologies with vocational education. Students gained a practical glimpse into the future of their field, while teachers were inspired with concrete tools for modernizing their teaching methods.
