Project Day “Our Companies”: Students Experienced Entrepreneurship Firsthand

Thanks to our partnership with the organization NVIAS, we were able to once again host the “Our Companies” project day, this time at the Secondary School of Teleinformatics in Ostrava. Students were divided into four teams, each tasked with developing their own business concept and going through key phases, from idea creation to final presentation.

Four Innovative Student-Founded Companies

Each team selected a specific industry for their business and came up with original and modern solutions:

1. FUTURO

Focused on the production of implants for people with disabilities, enabling them to control robots and computers using thought. This project showcases the vast potential of integrating technology and medicine to improve the quality of life.

2. TANK BELT

Introduced an innovative defense technology solutionspecial floating tank tracks that allow tanks to move on water like a boat, significantly increasing their flexibility in combat situations.

3. GEN

A project dedicated to producing paper from sequoia wood, specifically designed for designers and architects. A unique feature of this concept is that text and sketches made on the paper are automatically transferred to a computer, seamlessly merging creativity with digital processing.

4. GREENDAY

This team focused on transforming landfills into parks, aiming to create new cultural and recreational spaces on former landfill sites, thereby promoting ecological sustainability and improving urban living conditions.

A Hands-On Entrepreneurial Experience

Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to experience the process of starting a company, going through product development, innovation, marketing strategy planning, and market entry preparation. This project helped them understand the principles of entrepreneurship, develop teamwork skills, and foster their creative thinking.

The “Our Companies” project day once again demonstrated the tremendous potential students have in innovation and entrepreneurship. We extend our thanks to all participants and organizers and look forward to the next inspiring event!
