Interest in the “Our Companies” project days continues to grow among secondary schools. During May, the entrepreneurship team of the Moravian-Silesian Technological Academy visited two more schools, where students once again proved that they are full of imagination, creativity, and entrepreneurial thinking.
Drones, Water-Powered Cars, and Affordable Fashion
On May 7, 2026, the entrepreneurship team visited SPŠ, OA and Language School in Frýdek-Místek. Students worked on their own business ideas and, within just a few hours, developed complete company concepts.
The first team, called SONYX, introduced a concept of ultra-fast drones inspired by the character Sonic. These drones were designed to deliver food virtually anywhere in the world — including exotic destinations. The project targeted people who do not have time to cook or are looking for convenient dining solutions.
Another project that attracted significant attention was BERUŠKA, a company designing eco-friendly cars powered entirely by clean water. The vehicles featured a distinctive red color with black dots and targeted customers looking for original and environmentally friendly transportation solutions.
A Robotic Guide Dog and Microchips of the Future
Another project day took place on May 12, 2026, at SPŠEI Ostrava on Kratochvílova Street. Once again, there was no shortage of original ideas.
The team PESŤÁK impressed with its concept of robotic guide dogs for visually impaired people. The product was designed for individuals who cannot own a traditional dog due to allergies or lifestyle limitations. The company planned to cooperate directly with doctors and specialists.
Another team, MixMatch, introduced a line of mixed fruit drinks in cans that customers could enjoy at home without visiting a restaurant.
A particularly strong social impact came from the project FriendlyBot, which focused on developing robotic companions for lonely people. The goal was to support individuals who feel uncomfortable in social situations or suffer from loneliness.
Entrepreneurship as a Skill for the Future
The “Our Companies” project days continuously demonstrate that students are capable of innovative thinking, solving real-world problems, and working effectively in teams. The combination of creativity, communication, and entrepreneurial thinking represents one of the key competencies of the future.
The Moravian-Silesian Technological Academy will continue supporting these activities, as experiences like these help students develop skills they will use not only at school, but also in their future professional lives.
