Within the framework of the project TPA – Innovation Centre for Transformation of Education CZ.10.03.01/00/22_003/0000072, our students had the opportunity to participate in the Workshop on Open Workshops organized by FabLab Brno on 3 June 2024.
The pupils were able to see the FabLab Experience mobile workshop, which promotes innovation, crafts and creative activities. They had the opportunity to get acquainted with various modern technologies such as a laser cutter, a modelling milling machine, a cutting plotter, a thermolis and 3D printers.
This workshop was also attended by our vocational subject teachers, where they gained an insight into how open workshops are emerging and the role they play in contemporary education and business.
Located in both the private and public sectors, open workshops serve as small incubators for innovation and practical skills.
Participating in this workshop was a valuable experience for our teachers, enabling them to bring new knowledge and insights into the classroom to support the practical learning of our students.
