In recent months, we had the opportunity to visit the first 10 secondary technical schools in our Moravian-Silesian Region. During these visits, we introduced our organization, MTA, and the key project TPA – Innovation Center for Educational Transformation CZ.10.03.01/00/22_003/0000072. We also provided practical demonstrations of the initial EduBoxes designed for secondary school teachers and their students.
We spoke to a total of 153 teachers and members of school management. Some of the attending teachers had already participated in one of the six workshops we organized in June, focusing on automation, robotics, or IT, and shared their initial impressions with us.
During our meetings, we gathered valuable notes and questions from the teachers, such as:
- What is the overview of EduBoxes that are available, in the process of creation, or planned?
- How can teachers access EduBoxes and what should they do in case of difficulties downloading them?
- Who will be creating the educational modules for the Technical building security field?
- What workshops are planned, under what conditions, and how can teachers sign up for them?
- Will workshops for teachers be organized in the afternoons or during holidays?
These questions and suggestions help us better understand the needs of schools and their specific teachers, allowing us to tailor our activities to be as useful and effective as possible.
We thank all the participating schools for their responsiveness and input, and we look forward to further collaboration within the TPA project. We also look forward to meeting teachers from other secondary technical schools, with visits set to continue from September.
