The EduBox Future Mobility team showcased its work at the Brno Exhibition Centre as part of the AMPER trade fair, one of the most important events for professionals in electrical engineering, energy, and mobility. Participation in this event confirmed that connecting education with technological development is more important today than ever before.

Where the Automotive Industry Is Heading

As part of the expert program, Martin Kavan, Head of the Future Mobility team, delivered a presentation on the current direction of the automotive industry. He emphasized that it is not only about technological progress, but above all about the preparedness of people who will work with these technologies.

This is where education plays a key role. Schools must respond to changes in time and prepare learners for a reality that is already shaping the labor market.

Education Connected with Practice

One of the main topics was how to effectively connect teaching with real industrial environments. The Moravian-Silesian Technological Academy has long been working with concrete tools and approaches in this area:

  • The use of modern teaching tools within EduBoxes
  • Interactive and gamified educational materials
  • Working with real-life scenarios from the field of electromobility

These approaches help translate complex technological topics into teaching in a clear and practical way.

Discussion on the Future of Electric Vehicle Servicing

The program also included a panel discussion featuring Filip Houžvička, focusing on post-warranty servicing of electric vehicles—an area that will be crucial for the entire sector in the coming years. The discussion showed that, alongside technology, the preparation of skilled professionals will be equally important.

Inspiration Across Sectors

The AMPER trade fair also provided opportunities to meet other companies and projects in the fields of energy and innovation. These included automotive dealers, experts in automation and camera systems, and energy sector representatives such as Elpro Energo Transformers, a company that has previously collaborated with the Moravian-Silesian Technological Academy on excursions for vocational teachers.

The Future Depends on People

Participation in the trade fair once again confirmed that the future of mobility is not only about technology. The key factor is people—their knowledge, skills, and ability to adapt to change.
