On Friday, a meeting took place in Ostrava between the leadership of the Moravian-Silesian Technological Academy (MTA) and participants of the CzechSkills 2024 national competition. The event focused on reflecting on the recent competition, supporting entrepreneurship, and preparing Czech representatives for the prestigious international event EuroSkills 2025, which will be held in Denmark.
Feedback and Promoting Entrepreneurship
One of the key points of the meeting was gathering feedback from the participants. Discussions revolved not only around the evaluation of the CzechSkills competition but also on broader perspectives for improving entrepreneurship support. Together with MTA leadership, participants explored ways to effectively link education with the real needs of the market and motivate young people to adopt an entrepreneurial mindset.
Preparation for EuroSkills 2025
Another important topic was supporting the qualified contestants who will represent the Czech Republic at EuroSkills 2025. MTA leadership outlined a strategy to enhance team preparation and ensure optimal conditions for success on the international stage. MTA representatives emphasized that the key to success lies not only in technical proficiency but also in the ability to collaborate, present ideas effectively, and adapt to modern challenges.
Plans for the Future
The meeting also served as an opportunity to plan the next steps. At the beginning of 2025, an intensive evaluation meeting will take place to formulate concrete recommendations for supporting entrepreneurship and preparing competition teams. This initiative aims not only to enhance the preparation of participants for EuroSkills 2025 but also to strengthen the overall concept of entrepreneurship support in the Moravian-Silesian Region.
Strengthening Collaboration and Motivation
The meeting in Ostrava confirmed that combining feedback, quality support, and a long-term strategy can significantly contribute to the development of young talent and their success on an international level. We thank all participants for their active engagement and look forward to further steps in strengthening entrepreneurship and preparing our representatives for EuroSkills 2025.
