Representing the Czech Republic at the prestigious European competition EuroSkills is an exceptional honor – and sometimes, a gateway to the highest national recognition. Today, our representatives experienced such a day.

David Firla and Kryštof Skokan, young competitors in the Entrepreneurship Support category, together with their mentor Sylva Sládečková and Jan Meca, Director of the Moravian-Silesian Technological Academy, were received by President Petr Pavel at Prague Castle. The President personally thanked them for their efforts, dedication, and outstanding representation of the Czech Republic at this year’s EuroSkills 2025 competition in Herning, Denmark.

A Day Full of Recognition and Inspiration

After the ceremonial welcome, the afternoon program continued in the historic Kaiserstein Palace, where an official recognition ceremony was held for all EuroSkills 2025 participants and partners, under the patronage of Zdeněk Zajíček, President of the Czech Chamber of Commerce.

Symbolically, David Firla and Kryštof Skokan took on the role of hosts and moderators of the entire ceremony. They showcased not only their professionalism but also the entrepreneurial spirit they had already demonstrated during the competition – and now, in front of a broader public audience.

Appreciation for Partners and Supporters

Special thanks go to the Czech Chamber of Commerce, which has long supported skills competitions including CzechSkills and EuroSkills, and to its President Zdeněk Zajíček for his systematic support of young talent development in the Czech Republic.

This ceremonial event is proof that vocational education, entrepreneurship, and the international representation of the Czech Republic are not only meaningful but also firmly recognized within society.

A Commitment to the Future

The Moravian-Silesian Technological Academy is proud to have been part of this journey. At the same time, we recognize that every success is also a responsibility. We will continue to support young talents in their growth and help them transform potential into real success.
