H2 Forum 2026: Hydrogen Technologies Belong in Schools Too

P1015505 | H2 Forum 2026: Hydrogen Technologies Belong in Schools Too

Modern technologies are evolving rapidly. But schools do not need to purchase new equipment every time they want to bring these technologies into the classroom. At H2 Forum 2026, we demonstrated how hydrogen and modern mobility can be introduced to students in a practical way – through EduBoxes, which schools can now easily reserve and borrow via the edubox.cz platform.

On 30 September and 1 October 2026, the two-day H2 Forum conference, organised by the Moravian-Silesian Hydrogen Cluster, took place at DK Poklad in Ostrava. The event, dedicated to hydrogen and its applications, gave us an opportunity to show that new technologies should not remain solely a topic for expert conferences. They also need to find their way into schools.

Talking About Hydrogen Is Not Enough. Students Need to Experience It

How can we explain the principles of hydrogen technologies so that they are more than just diagrams in a presentation?

At our exhibition stand, we presented the EduBox Future Mobility, which enables teachers to introduce modern mobility and emerging technologies in a more visual and hands-on way. H2 Forum participants could explore, for example, a hydrogen fuel cell as well as the digital part of the EduBox.

Combining physical teaching aids with ready-to-use educational content is one of the core principles behind EduBoxes. Teachers therefore gain not only access to the technology itself, but also support in integrating it effectively into their lessons.

Why Buy Equipment When You Can Share It?

Modern specialist equipment can be expensive, and not every school will use it throughout the entire school year. This raises a simple question: does every school really need to own everything?

We believe it does not.

That is why we are developing a shared equipment system that allows schools to use modern teaching tools exactly when they need them. Instead of technology remaining unused in one location for most of the year, it can gradually benefit students at multiple schools.

This opportunity was also presented by Jan Meca, CEO of the Moravian-Silesian Technological Academy, during the second day of H2 Forum. He introduced participants to the new EduBox platform and the opportunities it offers schools – from educational content and workshops to borrowing specific equipment for use directly at their school.

You Can Now Choose and Borrow an EduBox Online

We want to make access to modern technology as simple as possible for teachers. That is why we have launched an online EduBox lending service at edubox.cz, providing a clear overview of available EduBoxes and how they can be used in schools.

You choose the topic and equipment you want to bring into your lessons. We help you bring the technology to your students.

Sharing also enables us to use available equipment more efficiently and gradually make it accessible to more schools, teachers, and students.

H2 Forum reminded us just how quickly the technologies around us are evolving. Our goal is to ensure that schools do not have to watch this development from the sidelines.

Bring Modern Technologies into Your Classroom

Would you like to introduce your students to hydrogen, modern mobility, or other emerging technologies? You do not have to start by purchasing new equipment. Start by borrowing it.

Visit edubox.cz, explore the available EduBoxes, and discover which equipment you can use directly at your school.

→ Choose your EduBox. Reserve the equipment. Bring modern technologies into your classroom.
