As part of the TPA Project – Innovation Center for Education Transformation, students from SPŠOA in Bruntál had the opportunity to participate in a Financial Literacy Workshop. This introductory course provided a theoretical foundation in financial literacy, familiarizing students with key concepts and principles essential for understanding the world of finance.
For many students, this was their first exposure to topics such as budgeting, saving, investing, and responsible financial decision-making. The workshop is designed not only to impart theoretical knowledge but also to spark students’ interest in further education in this field. Practical exercises, planned for upcoming workshops, will enable them to apply their learned skills to real-world financial situations.
With these practical skills, students will be better prepared to manage their personal finances and gain greater confidence in financial decision-making—an invaluable asset for their future lives.
This workshop was made possible with support from the TPA Project – Innovation Center for Education Transformation – CZ.10.03.01/00/22_003/0000072. The project is funded through the Operational Program for Fair Transformation (OPST) of the State Environmental Fund.
