Among the selected initiatives with significant impact on the region’s future was the Technology and Entrepreneurship Academy (TPA), presented by Jan Meca, Chairman of the Board of the Moravian-Silesian Technology Academy (MTA).
In front of the President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel and Eva Pavlová, EduBox was introduced – a comprehensive educational tool that fundamentally transforms the teaching of technical and vocational subjects in secondary schools. EduBox connects cutting-edge technologies with hands-on learning and directly responds to the evolving needs of the regional labor market.
EduBox: A Systemic Innovation in Vocational Education
EduBox is more than just a teaching aid. It is a modular system with clear methodology, divided into thematic modules (e.g., Future Mobility, Robotics, Automation, Cyber Security), utilizing technologies such as augmented reality, interactive models, and collaboration with industry. Its design supports both students in preparing for modern workplaces and teachers in delivering effective technical education.
Thanks to this presentation, both the TPA project and EduBox gained visibility not only within professional circles but also at the highest levels of government.
A Joint Effort for Regional Transformation
Alongside MTA, other transformative projects were presented, such as REFRESH, LERCO, Černá kostka (Black Cube), Muzeum+, CEPIS, TRAUTOM, and POHO2030. All of them share a common goal – to turn the Moravian-Silesian Region into a hub of innovation, modern education, culture, and sustainable development.
Education as the Foundation of Change
The meeting with the president was not only an opportunity to present our progress but also a strong affirmation that quality vocational education is a cornerstone of regional transformation. EduBox is becoming a model of how schools, technologies, and companies can be interconnected into a functional ecosystem that equips students with meaningful, future-oriented skills.
