Within the project TPA – Innovation Centre for Transformation of Education – CZ.10.03.01/00/22_003/0000072, on 19-20 October 2023, students from secondary schools in the Moravian-Silesian Region participated in the first part of the Business Camp at Kazmarka Cottage in Karlov pod Pradědem. The students had the opportunity to make contacts with peers from other schools, school companies and get a lot of useful information about business.
The programme was very varied and interesting for the students, led by erudite business consultants. Teamwork in small groups consisting of school representatives was encouraged.
In the process, students learned how to present their ideas to others, improve their communication skills and how to foster mutual respect. An important point of the programme was the topic of psycho-hygiene, which was designed to teach students techniques to relieve stress.
The programme included lectures on entrepreneurship, followed by a lively debate combined with discussion. The aim was to express the student’s views on dealing with various situations that may arise in practice.
On the second day of the camp, the students presented to each other the school businesses that are being created in their schools and also presented individual business plans. The final guest of the business camp was Filip Kamák, who, as a current entrepreneur and graduate of past business camps, shared his experience in business with the students.
We are looking forward to the second part of the ČSOB Validation Camp, of which the Moravian-Silesian Technological academy is a partner. It will take place on 2 – 3 November in Ostrava.
