Vítězslav Žák, a vocational teacher at the Secondary Industrial School and Business Academy in Bruntál (SPŠOA Bruntál), is currently participating in an international training program in Vaasa, Finland, focused on the latest trends in battery technologies.

The main topics of the program include:

• Recycling of battery cells

• Extraction and processing of rare metals

• Sustainable technologies in electromobility

These insights are crucial not only for understanding the entire lifecycle of batteries, but also for their practical application in vocational education. Mr. Žák will integrate the new knowledge and experience into his work on the EduBox Future Mobility educational module, where he serves as a specialist in technical education.

His area of expertise lies particularly in electromobility, specifically maintenance, repair, and servicing of electric vehicles—bringing essential up-to-date knowledge and real-world relevance into the classrooms of vocational secondary schools.

This international activity is carried out in cooperation with SPŠOA Bruntál and is further proof that vocational teachers from the Moravian-Silesian Region are actively engaged in the European educational landscape and are committed to the continuous development of their competencies and the broader vocational education system.
