On Thursday, we had the opportunity to visit the ABB plant in Mošnov, one of our key technological partners in the field of industrial automation and robotics. The main topic of the meeting was the potential collaboration on training vocational teachers and the use of ABB robots in secondary technical schools.
State-of-the-Art Robotic Workstations and a Unique Refurbishment Center
During the visit, we had the chance to tour the most advanced robotic workstations that ABB develops and installs in Mošnov. A major highlight was the visit to the specialized facility for refurbishing used robots—currently the only one of its kind in Europe. This part of the plant clearly demonstrated how crucial sustainability has become even in industrial technologies.
A Shared Vision: Teacher Training and Support for Education
Throughout the meeting, we discussed the possibilities of jointly organizing training sessions for vocational teachers on ABB industrial robots, which could significantly improve the quality of robotics education at technical schools. The goal is to prepare educators to effectively use robotic systems and to bring them closer to real-world industrial applications.
We also discussed potential collaboration on enriching the educational materials for our EduBox Robotics, a tool that connects theory with practice and helps schools better prepare students for future technical professions.
Thank you to the representatives of ABB for the warm welcome, inspiring discussions, and for sharing their know-how. We believe we can build a long-term partnership that will benefit not only schools but the entire technical education sector in our region.
