Our Roadshow On the Road with Teachers continues, and this time we headed to the easternmost part of the Moravian-Silesian Region — to Jablunkov Secondary School. A school with a long-standing tradition and a wide range of study programs — from transport, logistics, industrial IT, alternative fuels, to agricultural machinery repair — warmly welcomed the team from the Moravian-Silesian Technology Academy (MTA) led by Jan Meca.
Shaping the Future of Technical Education Together
The core of the program was a discussion with more than thirty vocational teachers, where key topics were opened regarding the modernization of technical education and possible collaboration on specific projects.
One of the major topics was robotics, an area where Jablunkov Secondary School already excels — their team won the FANUC Robotics Skills competition. This sparked a conversation about potential cooperation in developing an EduBox focused on FANUC industrial robots, which would help transfer this valuable know-how to other schools in the region.
EduBoxes: Bridging Theory and Practice
During the visit, we presented MTA’s vision for shared educational modules — EduBoxes — designed not only to deliver theoretical knowledge but above all to develop practical skills among students. We highlighted the possibilities of:
• Borrowing cutting-edge educational equipment directly to schools
• Organizing workshops and training sessions
• Connecting schools with industry experts
A Shared Vision: Bringing Cutting-Edge Technologies Closer to Schools
Our Roadshow confirmed that joining forces between schools, companies, and MTA’s technological background is the way forward in enhancing vocational education. In Jablunkov, we found an excellent partner unafraid of embracing change and eager to be part of a transformation that brings students closer to real-world industries and modern technologies.
