As part of the project TPA – Innovation Center for the Transformation of Education, fourth-year students of SPŠOA Bruntál participated in a practical lecture on sole proprietorship, led by experts from the Trade Licensing Office.
The aim of the session was to introduce students to the real-world process of starting a business and to guide them through the essential steps involved in establishing their own trade license. The students gained a clear understanding of the types of trade licenses, what needs to be arranged, and the legal and administrative requirements involved.
What did the students learn?
• How to choose the right type of trade license
• How to submit a trade notification and obtain a trade license certificate
• What terms like responsible representative, business premises, or commercial register mean
• What obligations entrepreneurs have toward the state and supervisory authorities
The second part of the lecture was also very beneficial, focusing on inspection procedures carried out by the Trade Licensing Office. Students learned how these inspections are conducted, what can be checked, and what penalties may be imposed for violating legal regulations.
Practical Advice for Future Entrepreneurs
