Robotics Workshop 2025: The Future of Technology Education at Your Fingertips

P1063596 | Robotics Workshop 2025: The Future of Technology Education at Your Fingertips

Technology is transforming education faster than ever, and at Moravian-Silesian Technological Academy (MTA), we want to be at the forefront of this change. That’s why, on February 14, 2025, in collaboration with VŠB-TUO and ABB, we organized a robotics workshop focused on modernizing technical education and the effective use of ABB Robot Studio.

The event brought together more than 20 specialized teachers from secondary schools, who explored the latest trends in robotics and automation. With the direct involvement of ABB experts, participants had the opportunity to experience industrial robot simulations firsthand and discuss the possibilities of integrating these technologies into teaching.

Key Topics of the Workshop

• Effective use of robots in education – Teachers received practical guidance on how to bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world applications and how to introduce automation through simulation tools.

• Networking and knowledge sharing among schools – The exchange of experiences between educators and schools aims to create a shared teaching methodology and accelerate the implementation of innovations.

• Enhancing EduBox content and workshops – We focused on expanding EduBoxes for robotics, ensuring they meet the latest industrial standards.

• ABB licensing opportunities for high school students in the Moravian-Silesian Region – Participants learned how their students can gain access to ABB Robot Studio, allowing them to train in robot programming even before entering the workforce.

Technology is Redefining Education

The workshop clearly demonstrated that robotics and automation are key elements of the future of technical education. The combination of hands-on experience with modern tools will help teachers better prepare students for industrial trends and employer expectations.

We would like to thank all participants, instructors, and partners for their dedication and inspiring discussions. We look forward to the next steps in modernizing vocational education and developing new technologies in Czech schools.
