Interest in the Our Companies project days, organized in the Moravian-Silesian Region in collaboration with NVIAS, is steadily growing. This unique educational format is successfully becoming part of the regular curriculum in secondary schools—and the enthusiasm from both schools and students confirms that it delivers meaningful results.
Where Have We Been?
In recent weeks, our mentors visited:
• Secondary School of Technology and Services in Karviná
• Secondary Industrial School Ostrava – Vítkovice
• Kolofík Secondary Technical School in Opava
Everywhere we went, we encountered enthusiasm and a strong creative spirit. The project day gives students a unique opportunity to explore the world of entrepreneurship, develop their ideas, and learn essential skills—from creating a business plan, to marketing, and presenting their work in front of an audience.
What Did the Students Experience?
During a simulation of launching their own business, students took on roles, considered investments, tackled challenges, and presented the results of their work. In just one day, they acquired practical entrepreneurial fundamentals—while having fun and collaborating as a team.
Examples of Student Companies
From Karviná, Opava, and Ostrava-Vítkovice:
• KÖNIG – a fitness brand with dietary supplements focused on a healthy lifestyle
• NWS – antivirus systems for corporate clients
• Lovely Beauty – natural, chemical-free cosmetics for sensitive skin
• Cleaning with Love – external cleaning services for businesses
• RDVD – development of cleaning robots
• GEMZ – synthetic gemstones with modern design
Why “Our Companies”?
Our Companies is more than just a game—it’s a modern educational tool that develops:

• Presentation and leadership skills
Students learn that entrepreneurship is not just about having an idea—but about the ability to bring it to life. And most importantly, they discover that entrepreneurship is a skill that can be learned.
