On Thursday, August 1, 2024, a productive meeting took place at Vitesco Technologies Czech Republic s.r.o., which is part of the FUTUR MOBILITY platform, an informal group of employers organized by the Moravian-Silesian Innovation Centre Ostrava. Representatives from MTA took a significant step toward establishing a solid partnership with this industry leader of supra-regional importance and scope. The meeting confirmed and highlighted Vitesco’s interest in new perspectives, particularly in the field of electrical engineering, which is why this meeting was facilitated by Martin Kavan, the team leader of Future Mobility.
The meeting began at 9:00 AM and continued until 12:30 PM. The initial part focused on mutual introductions, presentations of MTA and Vitesco, and discussions about future cooperation, especially regarding the development of EduBoxes—an innovative content delivery system developed by our developers for the Learning Management System. These developers formed the core of our sizeable nine-member delegation.
This was followed by a practical tour, guided in the first part by Mr. David Čáň (Head of Focus Factory) and in the second by Mr. Stanislav Pekárek (Head of Plant Industrial Engineering).
The tour showcased their state-of-the-art production facilities and significant advances in improving the work environment and technological innovations. This visit not only provided insights into Vitesco’s operations and processes but also outlined a potential plan for collaboration on EduBoxes that integrate applications from the real industrial world. The meeting concluded with a confirmation of Vitesco’s openness to further educational cooperation, aimed at enhancing the practical preparation of future high school and university graduates.
