On Tuesday, 6 December, the third in a series of workshops focused on 3D scanning took place. This time the workshop was held under the auspices of the Moravian-Silesian Academy of Technology. The lecturer doc. Ing. Marek Pagáč introduced the audience to 3D visualization and individual principles of 3D scanning. He pointed out the risks of scanning and emphasized the priority of accuracy. After an introductory presentation of 3D printing, individual methods and possibilities of using 3D printing, there was a practical demonstration of the devices and a demonstration of the products. At the very end of the lecture, the participants could try scanning an object and then transferring the data to a 3D scanning program.
