Last week, a significant meeting took place between the engineering team of the Moravian-Silesian Technological Academy (MTA) and the leadership of the Department of Machine Parts and Mechanisms at VŠB-TU Ostrava. The primary goal of this meeting was to initiate a collaboration on the development of EduBoxes, modern educational modules that bridge theory with practice and provide students with insights into the department’s current teaching and research activities.

EduBoxes: Innovations in Education

The new EduBoxes will be designed to reflect the cutting-edge technologies and methodologies taught and researched at the department. These educational tools will offer high school students the opportunity to acquire modern engineering practices in a practical, comprehensible, and interactive format.

Goals and Expected Outcomes

The collaboration aims not only to enhance technical education but also to inspire the younger generation to explore engineering fields. EduBoxes will help teachers effectively prepare lessons, connect students to real-world technical environments, and improve their employability in the job market.

Gratitude and Future Outlook

We extend our gratitude to everyone involved in the project for their active participation and open-minded approach to creating these innovative educational tools. We look forward to the results of this collaboration, which will bring added value not only to high schools but also to the engineering industry itself!

This initiative was made possible with the support of the TPA Project – Innovation Center for Education Transformation – CZ.10.03.01/00/22_003/0000072, funded through the Operational Program for Fair Transformation (OPST) of the State Environmental Fund.
