As part of the TPA Project – Innovation Center for Education Transformation, additional sessions of the Financial Literacy II and III workshops were held, building on the introductory session from the previous period. These educational activities offered students at SPŠOA in Bruntál not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills crucial for managing their future finances.
From Family Budgeting to Cybersecurity
The Financial Literacy II workshop focused on managing a family budget. Through engaging activities, students practiced effective ways to handle income and expenses, save money, and prioritize spending. In simulation exercises, they took on roles as family members, helping them understand the challenges of real-life financial management.
The third part of the workshop addressed the essential topic of cybersecurity. Students learned why trusting banks is important, how to recognize online risks such as phishing, and how to protect their finances from digital threats. The workshop provided valuable tips on minimizing risks and securing their financial resources.
Benefits for Students
The Financial Literacy II and III workshops highlighted the importance of educating young people about money management and digital security. These practical skills will be invaluable for students in their everyday lives and future careers.
