Elekromobilita nejen ve vzdělávání, 11. září 2024, Nošovice.

The year 2024 was extraordinary for the Moravian-Silesian Technological Academy (MTA). A key element was securing funding through the TPA Project – Innovation Center for Education Transformation – CZ.10.03.01/00/22_003/0000072, which accelerated our joint activities. Thanks to intensive work, collaboration, and innovative approaches, we significantly advanced technical education in the Moravian-Silesian Region and inspired students, teachers, and our partners. Our activities, whether creating new EduBoxes, supporting entrepreneurship, or conducting dissemination workshops, delivered measurable results and opened the door to further opportunities.

New EduBoxes: Learning for the 21st Century

In 2024, we expanded our range of educational modules with new EduBoxes, transforming the way technical subjects are taught. These innovative tools bridge theory and practice, addressing the needs of the modern labor market.

Cyber Security has been actively used in secondary schools since September, helping over 300 students understand the key principles of cybersecurity.

• In the field of Automation, we developed 10 spatial manipulators, six of which are already being utilized by teachers who can integrate them directly into their lessons with EduBoxes.

• Additional EduBoxes focusing on Future MobilityRoboticsAutomation, and 3D Printing are ready for implementation, marking another step toward modernizing education.

• We initiated preliminary meetings and planning for new teams focusing on Healthcare and Energy, paving the way for expanding educational content into additional fields.

Dissemination Workshops: Supporting Teachers

One of our key goals is ensuring adequate support for vocational teachers. To this end, we expanded our offering of dissemination workshops, helping them implement new technologies and methodologies into their teaching.

• In 2024, we organized 8 workshops focusing on areas such as Robotics and Automation.

• A total of 61 vocational teachers from 24 secondary schools attended the workshops, enabling them to more effectively utilize EduBoxes and motivate students to actively engage in modern disciplines.

Roadshow: Reaching Out to Teachers

As part of our mission, we visited 16 secondary schools across the Moravian-Silesian Region, engaging in discussions with teachers and students about the need for educational innovation.

• Our Roadshow reached over 220 teachers, introducing them to the tangible benefits of integrating modern technologies into teaching.

• At three schools, we also presented the EduBox Future Mobility with augmented reality, allowing students and teachers to directly glimpse the future of mobility.

Entrepreneurship Support: Preparing Future Leaders

Supporting entrepreneurship was one of our top priorities. The entrepreneurial centers at participating schools achieved several key milestones in 2024.

• We organized over 410 project activities, including workshops, consultations, competitions, and meetings with entrepreneurs.

Eight new school companies were established, providing students with real-world business experience, including product development, collaboration with partners, and selling their creations.

• Major events like the Validation CampBusiness Camp 2024, and the CzechSkills competition fostered entrepreneurial thinking among students while helping them develop critical skills.

• A total of 25 mentors and consultants from various industries joined the program, collaborating with 12 schools to enhance students’ learning experiences.

Successful Collaborations and Partnerships

The year 2024 was also marked by the formation of new partnerships. Our collaboration with industrial partners significantly strengthened the connection between school education and modern business practices.

• We continued successful partnerships with companies like HELLA AUTOTECHNIK NOVAFestoPrestar, and Schaeffler Production CZ.

• Additionally, we launched new collaborations with major market players, including Bosch TermotechnikaHyundai Motor Manufacturing CzechPorsche Engineering Services, and Maxion Wheels Czech.
